I felt like I was there as the Johnstown area 'pilgrims' traveled to Belgrade, Montenegro, and then the devastated Serbian Krajina area of Croatia.  <br /><br />The photos of St. Sava Cathedral in Belgrade and St. Basil of Ostrog in Montenegro were so eye-catching, but the most heart-warming of all was the meeting of Saula relatives in Vojnic, one of the areas most devastated by the war.  <br /><br />Danica Wess' comments brought tears to my eyes as the article explains how she bent to light a candle in the Budva church, which was so reminiscent of the St. Petka church her mother worshipped in years ago: 'if my mother could see me finally standing there in her homeland.'<br /><br />Great job, Tribune-Democrat!
