I was one of the original people that also asked for help for my brother, a quadraplegic Vietnam veteran, when the story was first written on Mr. Simmons. A false report was filed on me for sexual harassment by one of the employees of the Norman Veteran Center. This report was used in conjunction with other bogus reports filed by Bob Weeks, the former NVC administrator. I had been going to the NVC several times a week to assist my incapacitated brother, with many of his needs. When I initially contacted Mike Walters, current NVC administrator, he told me that since I was barred from the center, it would be up to Martha Spear, the executive director of the State Department of Veterans Affairs, to allow me to come back on the premises. When an ombudsman went to Walters to try to get me reinstated, Walters told the ombudsman it was up to the Cleveland County Sheriff's Dept. This was a lie, because I had already been to the sheriff's dept. to pick up a copy of the sexual harassment report, and they told me it was up to the NVC and/or V.A. administration to allow me entry! I believe in my heart that Spear is retaliating against me for giving a story of abuse to the media. In fact, I know it is!!");document.write("      </p>");
