I seem to remember learning that government is 'of the people, by the people and for the people'...not by the government for the government. Then require pols to read their entire legislative bills; yes, all the thousands of pages they create. That's a commons sense answer, right?

Then launch a low simple flat tax rate that EVERYONE can understand (and pays).

So lets simplify the answers: low flat taxes, small government accountable to the people, responsible honest trustworthy pols, a balanced budget, no-spin politics and a very strong military. Sounds like a common sense plan (and answers) the TEA toter's probably have on their minds, don't you? thank you Paul

p.s. Oh, some of them might want to extend the answers into energy independence by enabling the development of ALL economically viable sources of alternative energy, and yes that includes drilling for more oil for the time being. They might want to solve health care by first eliminating lawsuit schemes that are raising the cost of health care (read, more taxes are not the solution).");document.write("
");
