Foxy has been a 'role' model to children in the north country for years because of all his years in public education, and sporting events. He made learning fun. I was told he was the teacher that was loved the most in school. One everyone would go to for school help, sports or even personal advice. He isn't a horrible person. He has an illness and needs help... I have known foxy for many years. He was married into my family many years ago. And I come from a large family. As I was around him as a infant, a child, a teenager and now an adult, as well as my brothers and sisters, Foxy never did anything to EVER once make any of us feel uncomfortable in any way.. Nor would he have done to anyone. Yes this news in very shocking and disturbing to everyone. I'm not gonna lie, I was very shocked and disturbed when I was told. It is not Foxy.. However he is a human being, and my uncle. He is a man with a very large heart. He made a MISTAKE!! No one in this world is perfect. He is very loved and has many that stand beside him and support him in every way possible... He never touched a child, not even the ones in the videos, nor would he ever. Why are the videos and photos of that act even available for others to view?? Again Foxy has an illness and I know he will get the help he needs to get better.. Uncle Foxy!! My Aunt was with this man for 21 years, and as a close niece for all of those 21 years I love him dearly as my uncle. He was the greatest Uncle in the world to me and to my sister. We watched baseball games, talked about the Mets and the Dodgers non-stop, and often attended the games that he taped for the North Country. In fact, we were so close that I made him the GodFather of my daughter. From someone that was this close to him, I Strongly do NOT believe that he actually touched anyone. Whenever we were around, even as babies and my daughter as a baby, we ALWAYS had to be completely clothed. He didn't bath us, He wouldn't come around or look as a diaper was changed. He needs help now. As someone else said, he is a victim of the horrible internet that offers sick things for people to look at. (I realize that the children that were in the videos and photos are victims as well, and the sick man that took the pictures/videos has harmed these children a great deal. HOWEVER My uncle was a victim to this man as well). Unfortunately he was involved in this and I pray to God that he just gets the help that he needs. Please do not forget about the amazing things that he's done for the North Country. He's not just another person in the community. He is Foxy Gagnon, an amazing man with a big heart. I am so glad that Goose is there for him, and I know that his family is going to get the best help that they can. I hope that they do not send him to jail. He just needs help. He's still the same man that I've known all of these years. He just needs Help. Please God watch over him as I haven't spoken with him recently, however seeing him on the news broke my heart and made me so worried. He's sick, help him.
