At a time when our national government is pushing for renewable and conservationist strategies for all levels of government activity, this school could have been the model to do that and help end our wayward spending in services.<br /><br />Pyramids exposed the link between toxic living and childhood development and provided more than 'timed' passive developmental care for area children that needed such services. Although not popular, ridiculed, and unsupported all the workers of Pyramids continued to make strides in child care and development by best practices of healthy learning and development. In the end, this would have enable children needing services to decrease through proper learning of healthy practices by children and families.<br /><br />I find it amazing that neither the press nor the public made any inquiries as to the amount of funding actually amassed at the hands of these child development agencies and the workers in charge of them. Mandatory services usually wind up meaning big dollars for those that can control them. Just how and why there were contracting discrepancies through a mandatory state and local process is bewildering.  <br /><br />If its about proper child development services then make it about that and ensure the community gets real help and developmental support for all children but especially those with special needs. Ensure its not some money driven service package by a closed group of people just interested in lining their own pockets and fluffing their own egos. <br /><br />Its a shame that Clinton County had a great opportunity to shine amongst the state of New York with the advent of such a school implementing and  making progress with green inspired methods and nontoxic learning enhancement strategies proven to be more than effective within the special needs child development and learning community. <br /><br />There should be feelings of loss and sadness, not just for the children, parents , and workers of Pyramids, but for this county itself.");document.write("      </p>");
