document.write("      <p>");document.write("The probelm we have here is that the government employees (municipalities, city, state, & federal) all wanted their salaries to reflect those of their 'contemporaries' in the private sector.  Unfortunately, they don't think that it should still be that way during times of economic downturn.  Their contracts should reflect such things so that they are paid commensurately during good times and bad.  It is time to close down the gravy train.  If the unions don't want to go back for some new contracts then let each and every citizen withhold their tax payments, close down the government and force these people out of office and/or jobs.  They will then feel the pinch that the average citizen is feeling.  Then we can start anew with a fresh group of faces.  Not unlike what happens in the private sector that these people feel used to get paid so well and have so many benefits that they were lacking.  There are no such things as benefits outside the public wateringhole any longer.  The only benefit that people who have to work for a living have any longer is that they still have a job - and that is at the mercy of their corporate benefactors.  Complain out there and see what happens.  It is time for government and public employees to wake up and smell the coffee.");document.write("      </p>");
