Through the hard and determined work she did on finding the history on her African American descendant, she found me and gave me our heritage connection which took me off to find my great great grandfather who served in the Untied States Colored Inf. 41 st Regt. She helped and made me push on to look for our past and I am grateful and very proud of the work she did and the connection that we still keep with each other and share what we have found in our research on our ancesters that without detemination and sharing,we would not have known of.
