However, maybe Chief Thompson should look at addressing all of the ridiculous signs that are posted throughout Akwesasne calling the border patrol agents and other government organizations terrorists. It is also a joke that one of the main reasons for the protest is that there is a childrens playground near the border crossing and they fear for their children's safety. I am all for protecting your children and their safety, however aren't you contradicting yourself when there are tax free cigarette shops and liquor stores at just about every corner in Akwesasne?
