I love being able to fly into Orlando-Sanford instead of Orlando International because of the small size of the airport; it is so much easier to navigate.  We have flown to Orlando and Tampa in the past out of Burlington and Albany and are able to fly faster than to drive to Albany.  We were also happy with the addition of the extra flights in mid-April, which brought the cost down and made it easier to schedule our flight.  Our son is starting college in Miami this fall, so we will most likely fly into Fort Lauderdale as well at some point.  It will certainly cost less to put him on a plane than it will to drive down and get him.  I would also agree that scheduling more flights to places like New York City and Las Vegas would more than likely be popular choices for north country residents as well as Canadians looking for low-cost and convenient alternatives to driving to Burlington or Albany. I hope that eventually daily flights will be scheduled at least around busy times like spring break to further increase availability.  We are telling everyone we know that if they need to fly to Florida, Allegiant and Plattsburgh International are the only way to go!");document.write("      </p>");

There are a few hundred international students here, many spending their breaks in NYC,Ontario, Montreal or even neighboring states. Advantages clearly outweigh the disadvantages in our case.  Instead of flying Toronto-Montreal, paying expensive cab far to get from the airport to the Greyhound station and then taking the bus to Plattsburgh, everything would revolve around one simple trip...Too bad the chances of that developing along with Plattsburgh-NYC, are probably slim and will take forever.");document.write("      </p>");

I was happy to see that Allegiant has flights into and out of Plattsburgh. I was wondering if anyone thought about flights between Plattsburgh and Las Vegas.
