If a high school competes at an USASF event they are to abide their rules. In most states the cheer squads are governed by the National High School Federation but Texas does not follow the NHSF guidelines either. Injuries are becoming more prevalent in the sport of cheerleading because of more elaborate stunts and the lack of coaches education. The NCSSE (National Council for Sport Safety and Education) and AACA are two organizations that will safety certify a coach. Schools do not require the cheer 'Sponsor' to be safety certified which is sadly a major problem in the state.");document.write("      </p>");
